Is jbilling community still being updated

The version available for download is 4.1.1 which was released in 2015. The requirements seem to be Java 8 (we are now on 17), Grails 2.2.x we are now on version 5.x is it even install-able or build-able from source on a modern distribution?

    John - There has been no release since 2015. The 2015 release will not
    run on any grails version other than 2.4.4.
