Grails?</p>
<p>For Tomcat, set JAVA_OPTS in catalina.sh</p>
<p>set JAVA_OPTS="-server -Xmx1536M -Xms256M
-XX:MaxPermSize=384m"</p>
<p>You can also do the above in %CATALINA_HOME%\bin\setenv.bat
file.</p>
<p>For grails run-app, use the GRAILS_OPTS setting:</p>
<p>set GRAILS_OPTS="-server -Xmx1536M -Xms256M
-XX:MaxPermSize=384m"</p>
<p>For linux platform, use export command instead of set.</p>
<p>Hope that helps.</p>

<p>I have installed jbilling community version recently with all
default settings (according to jbilling install doc for windows)
but I do have the experience like Ahad, I am not very clear this is
slow due to community version instead of profession version or
what? This application is drastically slow. I have installed on
both Windows 7 and Windows 2012 R2 on powerful server for testing,
but it is running really slow. I have tried following fix but it
did not resolve my issue.</p>
<p>For Tomcat,</p>
<p>set JAVA_OPTS in catalina.sh<br>
set JAVA_OPTS="-server -Xmx1536M -Xms256M -XX:MaxPermSize=384m"</p>
<p>Also I could not found any Setenv.bat file to modify. Is this
%CATALINA_HOME% we have to setup as an environment variables?
(%CATALINA_HOME%\bin\setenv.bat ) or we have to modify catalina.sh
file for this, Please Help…Thanks.</p></div>Mobytag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/390796062016-02-20T05:35:00Z2016-02-20T05:35:00ZTooo slow<div><p>i am running from tomcat vikas</p></div>ahadtag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/390796062016-02-22T09:30:16Z2016-02-22T09:30:16ZTooo slow<div><p>Hello Ahad, Moby,</p>
<p>I could not reproduce the performance issue on startup or in
general a slow<br>
application. The application is reasonably fast <em>(but not
blazingly fast)</em><br>
for me on either Mac, Linux or Windows.</p>
<p>Can you share a video link of all steps from Zip > Deployment
> Slow UI?</p>
<p>Thanks and Best Regards,<br>
Vikas Bodani</p></div>Vikas@WebDataTechnologiesLLPtag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/390796062016-02-25T20:06:16Z2016-02-25T20:06:16ZTooo slow<div><p>Hi Vikas,</p>
<p>Thanks for your reply, could you please help me out to
understand that "Can<br>
you share a video link of all steps from Zip > Deployment >
Slow UI?" Do I<br>
have to visit some website to see those videos or what?</p>
<p>Just wondering that is it possible that we could customized and
hides the<br>
Company's list under sign on page, because of security concerns I
don't<br>
want to list all of the companies up there, I would like to put box
to<br>
manually type that company ID instead of list structure.</p>
<p>How much it cost for pro version, and how much its yearly
support cost (if<br>
any). How is the licensing work for this product? I have small
company who<br>
provides IT solutions to other small businesses and I am looking
forward to<br>
provide billing solutions to my clients. I need to know how many
concurrent<br>
users (community vs Pro) this application could handle efficiently
if you<br>
run this application on decent size server with 32 GB memory, 2TB
HD, with<br>
12 Cores x 2.3 GHz (AMD). Which OS environment is recommending
Windows vs<br>
Linus?</p>
<p>On community version is it permissible to do any kind of
customizations,<br>
like lay out changes, logo changes or add or delete some
features?</p>
<p>My target is to support minimum of 50 users for billing, so
that’s why I am<br>
looking forward to know this product very well. Also I need to
know, could<br>
I build a redundancy or backup for this server? Does all of the
data will<br>
store locally or could we build a storage server any NAS or SAN.
How quick<br>
we could recover data if needed in case of disaster?</p>
<p>Regards,</p>

<p>i have worked on jbilling 3.1 ce as a developper ,<br>
jbilling is realy a fantastic billing solution that you can forge
to feet your buisness , you need just somone who understand the
solution and can forge it respecting the open source license;<br>
for the company list , it is possible to hide it and change the
auth mechanisme to detect it from the login name on the server side
.... it is very easy also to customise the layout ... fuatures ...
add some other functionalities ...</p>
<p>in my case i have deployed it on a multi node architecture with
db cluster and active passive app servers cluster , the stress test
was and teh pen test was OK 100%</p></div>ahmed.drira@gmail.comtag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/390796062017-01-07T15:22:39Z2017-01-07T15:22:39ZTooo slow<div><p>Hi,</p>
<p>Did anyone find a solution to this problem?</p>
<p>I have the same issue. I set the java opts in windows java
control panel but it didn't make any difference.</p>
<p>Using jdk 8 / jre 1.8. 3.1.0 runs fine. I'm assuming the issue
is with Tomcat and/or how 4.1.1 interacts with it.</p>
<p>Thanks,</p></div>olu.odeniyitag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/390796062017-01-09T21:47:42Z2017-01-09T21:47:45ZTooo slow<div><p>Hi,</p>
