I attempted
to get it to work with the internal java db using Java 6, 7, and 8
(changing java_home each time :8 gets some gradles error, 7 gets a
SQL error). Then I attempted psql but there doesn't seem to be the
scripts to initiallize the DB. I tried hacking together what I
could find online but could never get it to work (old initiation
scripts, no initiation script just a blank jbilling db, changed the
jbilling-Datasource.groovy) Though tomcat would come up.</p>
<p>From their install documents you would think it was very easy
but, I spent over 8 hours attempting to get this to work so I'm
sure I just missed something easy.</p></div>Jacobtag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/389743092016-02-03T15:32:48Z2016-02-03T15:32:49ZUser guide to jBilling CE 4.1 and other staff<div><p>I believe you did not google well enough. In the second or third

from the<br>

the frequency that you are configuring in the jbilling properties
is<br>
telling jbilling to check for exemple if a user have to be aged or
if an<br>
order have to be marked as finished...,<br>
it mean that the aging process will process evry ( 5 )minutes and
check if<br>
a client have to be aged ...<br>
for belling cycle , this process is scheduled periodically , you
have to<br>
specify the periode of your command and the periode of your billing

running the billing cycle on the future is not possible only if you

the date of your server<br>
on the dev environment it not recommended, you have also the test

[Questions #933]<br>
Hello,</p>
<p>I downloaded the jbilling-community-4.1.1, I uploaded it unto my
virtual 64bit windows 7 system. I unpacked it and placed it into
the applications folder of the C: drive (C:\Program files) and
tried running the startup.bat file.</p>
<p>Immediately I double click on the startup.bat file, it pops up a
black cmd prompt window and immediately closes, the cmd prompt
window stays open for like only 2 seconds.</p>
<p>I have Postgresql installed, the latest JDK (java runtimed 7 or
so) and I even downloaded the tomcat application service. Still no
luck.</p>
<p>Please find attached herewith, a copy of my
jbilling-DataSource.groovy file which I edited, based on some
comments I read in the jbilling forum.</p>
<p>Please I really need some help with this, at this point I am
super determined to find out what the cause of this problem is.</p>
<p>Thank you for your help.</p></div>Ayo Omotoshotag:jbilling.tenderapp.com,2012-10-15:Comment/389743092016-04-30T07:55:42Z2016-05-03T12:51:06ZUser guide to jBilling CE 4.1 and other staff<div><p>Hello Ayo,</p>
<p>The below entry in your jbilling-DataSource.groovy may need
correction:</p>
<pre>
<code>dialect = "org.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect"
driverClassName = "org.postgresql.Driver"
username = "dbUser"
password = ""
url = "jdbc:postgresql://localhost5432/jbilling_test&quot;"</code>
</pre>
<p>The url property value has unwanted '"'. Please remove it.</p>
<p>Also, are you sure that you have your local database
'jbilling_test' initialized with<br>
jBilling schema? You can do that by using the command 'grails
prepare-test' if you build from source.</p>
<p>Make sure that 'dbUser' is indeed the correct database user.</p>
