Can we get the minimum hardware configuration needed for setting up the J billing Community version.
We need to set up the working condition Lab in our company.

    You can use a system having quad-core processor, 4 GB Ram and any disk
    space, at least 10 GB. That's assuming you are running the DB on a separate
    box.

    The billing and ageing jobs are spring batch jobs and they use the
    multicore environment to spread the process loads. You can also use a
    cluster of networked nodes to spread those jobs to separate nodes/boxes.

    Hi Vikas,
    Thanks a Lot. Which is the best OS we can use (Windows/Ubundu,Linux,Unix) I think Jbilling supports Windows.
    Also Please specify which database we can use (PoSTGre SQL,Mysql,Oracle)

    Most preferred DB is PostgresSQL v9.4 for the last release. You can also
    use MySQL out of the box but require changes to support Oracle.

    You can use any of the OSes, preferably one you are most familiar with.

    Thanks. One More questions is in your previous mail you have mentioned

    My interpretation is Jbilling in different box and database in different box is that correct?

    If it is not please give some explanation.

    How many VMWare needed? How much RAM and disk spaces?

    How much scale do you want? You can start with 4 cores on both the
    application and the database nodes on the cloud but the CE4.1 will not be
    so resource hungry. Depends what batch jobs you enable and with what load
    and frequency. So, the recommendations will change accordingly.
