<p>jBilling Community Edition is tested & works fine on java
1.6. Please make sure you have installed java 1.6 & set your
JAVA_HOME environmental variable correctly.<br>
Download the JAVA JDK that is JAVA SE(Standard Edition) From Here :
<a href=
"http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html">
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html</a><br>
You can choose your JAVA JDK version architecture whether it should
be 32bit (x86) or 64bit (x64).<br>
Windows 8<br>
Set the JAVA_HOME Variable<br>
Once you have identified the JDK installation path:</p>
<p>Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop and select
Properties.<br>
Click the Advanced tab.<br>
Click the Environment Variables button.<br>
Under System Variables, click New.<br>
Enter the variable name as JAVA_HOME.<br>
Enter the variable value as the installation path for the Java
Development Kit.<br>
for ex. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0<br>
Add the location of the bin folder of the JDK installation to the
PATH variable in System Variables. The following is a typical value
for the PATH variable:</p>
<p>C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\Program
Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin</p>
<p>Hope this answers your question!<br>
Let us know if we can help you with anything else.</p>
